Charnissa Moore

Charnissa serves as the Director of Membership & Sponsorships at AMA, bringing more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit and association membership strategy, engagement, and revenue development. She joined the AMA team in 2021 and is recognized for her ability to build strong member and partner relationships, strengthen organizational value, and drive sustainable growth through strategic membership and sponsorship initiatives.

Prior to joining AMA, Charnissa held leadership roles with the American Institute of Architects, where she developed a deep understanding of the strategic impact associations have in advancing industries and strengthening professional communities.

Passionate about serving others both professionally and personally, Charnissa actively volunteers with organizations that support individuals experiencing homelessness, reflecting her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community.

Outside of work, Charnissa enjoys creating new memories through travel whether exploring destinations across the United States or around the world. Above all, she values spending quality time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories together.
