By the age of nine, Melissa had already called five states home, which may explain her love of travel and new experiences. While Phoenix has claimed the longest stint, Southern California will always have her heart. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Melissa brings years of association event and education experience to AMA, backed by a hospitality background that fueled her passion for exceptional service and thoughtfully crafted experiences.

When she’s not planning events, Melissa is likely traveling, volunteering, or daydreaming about the beach. Her favorite place to be is oceanside with her husband and two boys—though she’s also known to enjoy a girls trip now and then. She’s happiest when life includes a little movement, meaningful time with family, and a view of the ocean.
