Project S.A.F.E. Registration

Project S.A.F.E., which stands for Safety Awareness Family Education, is a program unique to AMA Member apartment communities that wish to hold educational, expert-led events at their properties. Events are designed to reinforce ideas about several areas of safety such as personal safety, parking lot safety, pool safety, ID theft, pet safety, and many others. Property staff is to invite residents and surrounding businesses to contribute to and participate in the event. The property will be recognized as a valuable member of the community at large.
The goal of Project S.A.F.E. is to disseminate important information to residents and to build a sense of community by helping neighbors get to know one another. The program creates a bridge to connect the property with city leadership, local police departments, and neighboring communities and vendors. These events can lead to increased resident retention, higher safety awareness, positive publicity and an additional activity that you can advertise to entice new residents.
The deadline to submit completed events to be entered into the 2021 "Best Of" competition has been extended to December 31. Those submitting events for completion only (not the "Best Of" competition) have until December 31.
Winners of the "Best Of" competition will be announced at the February 2022 AMA Dinner Meeting. Please check AMA events page for date.
