Human Trafficking Awareness

December 7, 2021 | 9am-Noon | ZOOM

This course will provide a look into human trafficking to include how it affects our industry and how apartment owners and operators can respond to this growing issue. Learn the signs you should look for, how you should respond to a suspected human trafficking situation and what preventative measures you should put into place. Rachael Kish

is a Regional Portfolio Director, leading a team of Community Managers who serve Shelton Residential’s private equity clients. She has served in the multi-family industry since 2003, gaining experience and expertise in competitive rent growth, implementing value add opportunities, staff development, and industry teaching. At Shelton Residential, her goals include assisting clients grow capital for investment in new assets, preparing  and equipping the next generation of multi-family leadership, and providing the best client, employee, and resident experiences possible. Rachael holds her CAM and CAPS through the National Apartment Association, instructs for the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA), and is a three time AMA Tributes Finalist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Anderson University (Anderson, IN)  and her Arizona real estate license. When Rachael is not busy serving her clients and teams, she enjoys early morning coffee dates with her husband, eating gelato with her children, and doing renovations on her fourth generation New England family home.

Denise Holliday

Attorney Holliday has engaged in Landlord/Tenant practice since 1996. She is a Justice of the Peace Pro Tem and Superior Court Pro Tem.  She is a certified instructor for the Department of Real Estate, Arizona Association of Realtors, Property Management Institute and National Association of Real Property Managers.  She is president of ALTA since 2003 and a training instructor for ALTA since 2001. She has been a keynote speaker at several legal seminars regarding Landlord/Tenant issues presented to the Association of Landlord/Tenant Attorneys, Maricopa County Justices of the Peace, Maricopa County Judge Pro Tempores,  Continuing Education for Attorneys, and Co-Jet training for Judges, NARPM, AHMA, and numerous other professional associations.  She also assists Law Enforcement and Property Managers with Crime Free Programs for apartment complexes.
