Advocacy Update- Q2 2025

April 24 | 10:00am-11:00am | ZOOM

Join AMA President & CEO, Courtney LeVinus and Board Chair, Adam Greco and learn the basics of advocacy. Why is advocacy so critical to the AMA and industry, with specific details on countering the arguments surrounding rent control and evictions.  We have all read the headlines about record level of evictions in AZ; learn the real facts and how to counter this false narrative that is often used as a reason that rent control is needed.

In this session you will:

  • Understand why advocacy is critical to the industry
  • Learn why rent control isn't the answer to housing affordability
  • Have real facts to counter the false narrative of rent control

Kelsey Jahntz, Director of Government Relations with Capitol Consulting will give an update on the 2025 legislative session including what bills the AMA is watching and supporting.

This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.
