The Leadership Playbook: Coaching Every Performer

January 14 | 10am-11am | ZOOM

Not every employee is on the same path, and effective leadership starts with understanding where each team member is today and what they need to succeed.

This session will help leaders assess employee performance and professional development to determine whether a team member is ready for their next opportunity, needs additional coaching or support, or is thriving exactly where they are. Participants will explore practical strategies for having meaningful development conversations, addressing performance and skill gaps, and creating individualized plans that support both employee success and organizational goals.

Covered in this Session:

• Assess employee performance and professional readiness using objective criteria

• Distinguish between performance concerns, skill gaps, and development opportunities

• Deliver clear, constructive feedback that encourages growth and accountability

• Identify employees who are ready to take on additional responsibilities or advance

• Determine when coaching, additional training, a performance improvement plan, or a role adjustment may be appropriate

• Create practical development plans based on each employee's strengths, goals, and needs

• Support high performers, developing employees, and team members who are successful and fulfilled in their current roles

This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.
