This class equips maintenance professionals with the financial knowledge and tools needed to actively participate in the budgeting process. Attendees learn how to forecast expenses, justify budget requests, and distinguish between different types of maintenance-related expenditures to ensure accurate planning and compliance.
At the end of the class attendees will:
- Understand how maintenance fits into the annual budgeting process.
- Learn to monitor and project maintenance needs and expenses for the coming year.
- Know the differences, examples, and budget impact of each type. (Turnover vs. Repairs vs. Capital)
- Learn how to support budget requests with clear documentation and cost justifications.
This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.
