The 34th Annual Tribute Awards is an opportunity to honor exceptional multifamily professionals and communities for their outstanding contributions to the Arizona Apartment Industry. Nominate the individuals and teams who have made a significant impact—you and your nominees will remember this experience for years to come.

1. When is the nomination window for the 2025 Tribute Awards?
The nomination window is shorter this year. More details to come.
2. Who is eligible to be nominated?
All active AMA members in good standing are eligible. Nominees must be employed by member management companies or member properties.
3. How many entries can a management company submit?
The number of entries allowed per category is based on the number of units in AMA membership:
- 1–7,000 units: up to 3 entries per category
- 7,001–14,999 units: up to 5 entries per category
- 15,000+ units: up to 9 entries per category
4. Can someone be nominated in multiple categories?
No, individual nominees can only be nominated in one category. For example, a nominee cannot be entered in both the "Metro Phoenix" and "Outside the Valley" categories.
5. Is there a fee to submit a nomination?
Yes, the entry fees are:
- $100 for individual nominations
- $125 for team nominations
- $150 for property tour nominations
- There are no fees for Industry Partner of the Year or AMA Volunteer of the Year nominations.
NOTE: Test and interview information will be sent to the nominee’s email address. Please provide a unique, individual, active, monitored email address for every nominee.
6. What are the judging rounds and how do they work?
- Round 1: Proficiency exams for exam categories, conducted online via Zoom (TBD).
- Round 2: Top testers advance to interviews for exam categories. Team categories also have their first interview round via Zoom.
- Round 3: Finalists participate in in-person interviews (TBD) or scheduled property tours for developer categories.
7. What resources are available to help with nominations?

8. Who can submit nominations?
Nominations must be submitted by a corporate office representative from the management company. We will only accept one spreadsheet per management company.
9. Are there any restrictions on past winners?
Yes, individuals or teams who won a Tribute Award in the same category within the last three years are not eligible to be nominated in that category again.

AMA Payment Policy: Payment in full is due prior to the event. No changes, refunds, or cancellations will be permitted within 10 days of an event for attendee registrations and within 30 days for sponsorship's, Tribute Awards tables, and exhibit tables/booths. Prices subject to change. Registrations via e-mail constitutes acknowledgment of terms and conditions.
