Please note: If you miss Part 3 of the Summer Series, you can still take Parts 1 or 2. These classes compliment each other, but do not build on one another.

This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.

  1. Personal presentation and creating a lasting impression
  2. Professional development and business etiquette
  3. Effective communication skills
  4. What is networking and why it’s important
  5. Effective networking, best practices, and overcoming challenges

Instructor Takeaways:

  • Becoming a polished professional is more than taking pride in your appearance. It encompasses your communication skills, professional etiquette, personal brand, and a continuous desire for self-improvement.
  • Networking is not just about creating connections. Networking is a conduit for career advancement, knowledge sharing, creating new customers, and personal development.
  • Understand that rejection is part of growth. Keep a positive attitude and continue to build genuine relationships based on quality, respect, and mutual benefit.
