Understanding Pools for Managers
April 28 | 10am-11am | ZOOM
This session is designed specifically for onsite managers and is not intended to replace technical certifications such as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO). Instead, it provides essential awareness and oversight skills needed to effectively manage community pool facilities. Participants will learn how to monitor pool conditions, identify potential issues, and support safe, clean, and well-maintained environments.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify visible signs of proper and improper pool maintenance
- Recognize basic chemical issues and understand when to escalate concerns
- Understand routine and long-term maintenance expectations
- Anticipate and plan for routine and unexpected pool-related expenses
This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.
