CPO Certification Course

December 6 2022 | 8am-6pm | AMA OFFICE

We are pleased to offer the PHTA Certified Pool Operators Course. The CPO certification program is the world’s leading education and certification program for keeping pools safer and keeping them open. Training provides individuals with the knowledge, techniques, and skills required for proper pool operations. This course is 16 hours in length.

Each student will have to complete the first 8 hour course on their own time before attending the in person Training and testing on December 6th.

They will receive a Certificate of completion for the POP Course that they MUST print and bring with them to the in person Training and Testing on December 6th.

(Pool & spa operator handbook included.)

You will learn how to:

  • Reduce risks in and around the water
  • Prevent drowning, recreational water illness, suction entrapment, evisceration, diving accidents, electrocutions, chemical hazards, and slips and falls
  • Address regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain disinfection and water balance
  • Manage water problems
  • Perform troubleshooting, chemical testing, and record keeping
  • Manage chemical feed
  • Utilize automation and technology

Registration will close  November 17th to make sure students have enough time to comeplete the first 8 hour class before the in person training on December 6th.
