 Understanding a Budget for Maintenance Professionals

Introduce maintenance professionals to the basics of reading and understanding a budget, including how their daily work affects spending.

Learning Goals: At the conclusion of this class, participants will be able to:

  • Understand what a budget is and why it’s important.

  • Recognize common parts of a budget like labor, materials, and equipment.

  • See how maintenance work is included in a budget.

  • Know why it’s important to track time, supplies, and receipts accurately.

This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.
