Mar 2026 | Your AMA Monthly Recap
March Madness: The AMA Way
March gave us a full calendar and a lot to show for it. From celebrating nominees to raising funds and taking conversations all the way to D.C., this month checked a lot of boxes.

Starting with a Well Deserved Spotlight
We kicked things off in Tucson on March 5 and Flagstaff on March 11 with our Tribute Awards Nominee Networking Events. These are some of our favorite stops each year. Nominees swing by, grab their pins, connect with peers, and get a moment that’s about them!
Save the date as we announce the 2026 Tribute Awards finalists live on Facebook, April 28 at 3pm.
Lawn Games, but Make It Competitive
March 13 brought the AMCF Tucson Lawn Games Tournament, and let’s just say some teams took it very seriously. Cornhole, ring toss, ladder ball, all the classics, just with a little more pride on the line. More importantly, the event raised over $16,000 for local Tucson charities. And yes, the weather cooperated this time!
A Golf Tournament That Sells Itself
By March 20, we were back in Phoenix for our annual Golf Tournament, and it sold out… again. It’s a full day of catching up, making connections, and maybe focusing on golf somewhere in between.
Taking Arizona to D.C.
At the end of the month, AMA staff and members headed to Washington, D.C. for National Apartment Association Advocate Day. On March 25, they met with Arizona representatives to talk through the housing issues that matter most to our members.
Education That Fits Your Schedule
March’s education lineup included:
- Risk Mitigation
- Stop Yelling at Me! What to Do, Say, and Avoid When Customers Complain
- Requirements for Licensees
- Multifamily Market Update, Q1
- Mastering Leadership
And if you missed one, or just want to revisit it, our newly updated OnDemand platform makes it easy. Everything is available to watch anytime and free for members.
We also welcomed 33 new members this month and celebrated two staff anniversaries, Amanda Perkumas hit 7 years, and Heather Hall marked 2 years.
March felt busy, productive, and honestly pretty fun. Exactly how we like it.
