The month flew by, and we made the most of every AMA moment—from new members to hands-on learning and community impact.

 

Welcoming New Members

This month, 32 new members - opens in a new tab joined AMA! New Member Orientation, held at the AMA office, gave attendees a chance to learn more about the association, meet the Membership Committee, and get paired with mentors. It’s always exciting to see fresh faces bringing new energy to our community. 

Tucson Bowl-A-Thon: Glow and Give

Tucson lit up for the “Let’s Glow Bowling” AMCF Bowl-A-Thon, raising over $17,000 for our charitable partners - opens in a new tab. With 40 sold-out lanes and 12 generous sponsors, members came together for a little friendly competition, giving back in a big way.


Phoenix Trade Show: AMA’s Greatest Hits

The trade show drew over 1,200 attendees and featured 200 vendors - opens in a new tab, LEGO building, professional headshots, and even a cuddly puppy lounge. Our “AMA’s Greatest Hits” theme made networking fun and creative, and reminded everyone why this event is a can’t-miss on the calendar.

Phoenix IPC Property Meeting: Building Partnerships

Attendees got an inside look at IDM Companies, exchanged ideas, and saw firsthand how strong partnerships are formed. Shoutout to our AMA Ambassadors - opens in a new tab—your guidance keeps members connected and events running smoothly.

Lyceum in Action: Leading Through Service

The 2025 AMA Lyceum class visited UMOM New Day Centers, assembling over 300 dish kits for families moving into stable housing. Leadership isn’t just about influence—it’s about impact.

Board Retreat: Leading Through Giving

At the AMA Board Retreat in Tucson, members collected socks and underwear for the Center of Opportunity. Board members also toured the facility, witnessing firsthand the difference our support makes in the community.

Education: Learning in Action

This month’s classes included the CALP course, Drywall & Paint, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, and Property Protection. Missed a class? No problem—our on-demand library - opens in a new tab is always available for members.

Scholarships: Investing in the Future

We’re thrilled to celebrate the 2025–26 Julie Hurst & Steve Peters Education Fund scholarship recipients, helping AMA members and their families pursue post-secondary education.
