October was buzzing with activity! From insights and advocacy to charitable giving and networking, our AMA community made it a month to remember. Here’s a friendly look back at all the highlights.

Perspectives & Projections

We kicked off the month with Perspectives & Projections, where local and national experts shared their outlook on the multifamily industry. This premier forecasting and networking event brought together top leaders, professionals, and sponsors to connect, learn, and think big.

Patron Appreciation Breakfast

We loved celebrating the our Patron Sponsors who make our work possible. Thank you to everyone who joined the breakfast, you truly make a difference in our AMA-zing community!

Lyceum Takes the Capitol

Over twenty of our Lyceum members got to play “State Senator for a Day”! From debating bills on the Senate floor to lunch with lawmakers and a tour of the historic Capitol, the class got a hands-on look at how government really works. Want in next year? Applications are open for the 2026 Lyceum class.

AMCF Phoenix Charity Week

Our 2025 AMCF Phoenix Charity Week was record-breaking! With 670+ participants, we raised over $26,000 to support Entryway Phoenix, the Julie Hurst & Steve Peters Education Fund, SARRC, and UMOM New Day Centers. Huge thanks to everyone who pitched in, it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

NAA Advocacy Academy

Sarah Fluke, VP of Operations, and Linda Morales, Tucson Area Executive, attended the NAA Advocacy Academy and came back inspired and ready to amplify our voice in Arizona’s multifamily industry. From role-playing congressional meetings to learning practical advocacy skills, it was an experience they won’t forget.

Tucson Golf Tournament

We brought Hollywood to the greens with “Lights, Camera, GOLF!”—and the Tucson tournament was a hit. Costumes, laughs, and great swings made it another sold-out success.

Celebrating Milestones

A big congratulations to Melissa Lanouette, Director of Events & Education, on her five-year AMA work anniversary. Your dedication keeps our events and programs running smoothly!

Tucson New Member Mixer

We wrapped up the month connecting with new members at our AMA office. It was a great chance to meet staff, peers, and mentors while getting familiar with all AMA has to offer.

October Education

Members got smart with sessions like:

  • Finding Clarity in a Distracted World
  • How to Create a Culture of Accountability
  • CPO Certification Course
  • Technology: Set It, Forget It & Regret It
  • Multifamily Market Update

All classes are included in membership and available on-demand.

Welcome New Members

We’re excited to welcome 24 new members to our AMA family this month!

October was packed, productive, and full of connection. Thank you for being part of it all! We can’t wait to see what November brings!
