We may not have the classic fall, but we've got something even better - a month jam-packed with epic wins and heartwarming moments. We Are Arizona, We Are AMA:
Our September adventure kicked off with a bang at the Phoenix Education Conference and Trade Show with over 200 booths. Nearly 2500 of us were there, creating a bustling hub of learning and networking. But it's not just about the numbers; it's about the energy. We dived into captivating sessions like "Gaming Your Way To A Rich Workplace Culture" and "Assertiveness Skills For The Relentlessly Positive Communicator." And the surprises? A puppy cuddling lounge and a dessert happy hour! Plus, we joined forces to pack 350 bags of donated items for UMOM New Day Centers, giving a helping hand to homeless youth in our community.
Spreading Love to UMOM New Day Center & AMCF Phoenix Big Hearts Expedition:
Right after the Phoenix Trade Show, our commitment to making a difference continued. The Phoenix Events Committee stepped up, visiting the UMOM New Day Centers donation center and delivering those 350 bags filled with essentials. Plus, the AMCF Phoenix Big Hearts Committee embarked on a heartwarming expedition, exploring the UMOM New Day Centers campus and strengthening our bonds with this cherished charitable partner. The committee also presented a $25,000 check to help with their campus' playground! WOW!
Connecting at IPC: Greystar's Get-Together:
In September, our Industry Partner Member Council meeting brought us together for an exciting opportunity to network, learn, and make lasting connections. The latest rendezvous was hosted by Greystar Real Estate Partners at the Tyler in Gilbert, where over 60 industry professionals gathered. We delved into the details of doing business with Greystar while exploring the property's unique charm. The icing on the cake? You had the chance to score a hosted lunch by Greystar. That's how you blend business with pleasure, the AMA way!
Perspectives & Projections:
Our journey continued, leading us to September 22, a day we call "Perspectives & Projections." It's basically a backstage pass to the health and future of the multi-family housing industry. Local and national experts brought their A-game, and the theme? Think progress, think innovation. It was like a concert for industry know-how!
Grand Opening Celebration:
From learning to pure celebration, we had a blast at the grand opening of Avilla Grand. This property, a proud AMA member under the MEB Management , was the star of the show. We're all about supporting our members' journeys to success.
Welcoming New Members:
September brought a crop of fresh faces to the AMA family. We rolled out the welcome mat for 24 new members!
CALP Class Launch:
Let's talk unlocking potential! Our CALP class hit the scene, teaching leasing agents the ropes of leasing techniques, resident retention, and market surveys. Six days of immersive learning? Yes!
Tucson Bowl-A-Thon & Charity Month Success:
Our September journey hit a high note at the AMCF Tucson Bowl-A-Thon. Picture us ditching the suits for denim and diamonds—it was all about the fun! But here's the big win: when we bring together our efforts with Charity Month, the grand total raised for AMCF Tucson in September was a whopping $19,400. That's how we rock charity and have a blast at the same time!
5 Star Program + Project S.A.F.E. Success:
Last but not least, the big news! Our 5 Star Program + Project S.A.F.E. registration wrapped up on September 30, and guess what? Over 300 properties joined the party! Safety and excellence? We've got it all covered.
